Progress was slowed today due to having to perform some maintenance on two of the hovercraft.
A broken belt on Andy Pittman's hovercraft delayed the expedition by about an hour and
continued belt problems caused Andy to pull off and return home. It was nice that Andy joined
us for the short time that he did.
5 miles after Andy Pittman had belt problems Don Bender snagged a tree branch with his hovercraft causing some slight hull and skirt damage that needed repairing. After the delays the hovercraft team made it to mile 340 and camped on the river near Fort Osage - which was where Lewis and Clark once camped.
