We completed Leg 3 of the Lewis and Clark 200th anniversay educational hovercraft project by completing a run on the Columbia River to Mile marker 0 at the mouth West of Astoria, OR. We were forced to lay over at Astoria for a day due to adverse weather but completed the run in the morning of 19th. I have not calculated the river miles yet, but it is about 3000 miles, the last leg being about 1000 miles.
We have met interesting people, seen glorious places, had great adventures and tense times. We had interviews with Helena, Mt and Astoria Newspapers that may be online. Some news coverage in Portland.
