This craft was built by an excellent craftsman. No expense was spared to make the craft an excellent piece of machinery.
It uses the EJ-20 engine. This fuel injected engine produces 130 reliable horsepower.

A lift engine was recently added (mainly to try something different). The lift engine does increase low speed maneuverability and ease of driving.

The craft features side by side bucket seats for pilot and passenger. Dual controls allow the pilot to operate the craft from either side. Gull wing doors make the craft easy to park at conventional boat docks.

Craft is located in Australia

Universal Hovercraft UH-10F2 Price: $6,200 tilt trailer included SOLD

Model: UH-10F2
Year built: 2011
Thrust engine: Briggs & Stratton 18 hp elec. start

The hovercraft I'm selling was built using the Universal Hovercraft UH-10F2 Plans. The person I bought it from has previously built and sold several other hovercraft models. I bought this craft in August 2011 as a new craft with a new engine. The builder modified the design so that it has a wider body and a bigger duct. It is equipped with an 18 HP B & S Vanguard engine. It is being sold with a home-built tilt bed trailer that was made specifically for this hovercraft.

Universal Hovercraft UH-13P Price: $3,900 with trailer SOLD

This hovercraft was completed in 2007.  It has a 27 HP Kohler engine that powers both lift fan and thrust prop.  Two passenger tandem seating with joystick steering. Two three gallon gas tanks.  Comes with a kill switch, automotive type tach, and a turbo boost gauge.  Engine is turbocharged and has two separate fuel systems.  One is low pressure to the carburetor, the other is high pressure to an injector.  The high pressure side needs more tweaking to work properly, but the engine runs fine on the carburetor alone.  35 to 40 mph on water, and 45 mph on ice.  Front and rear marine lights.  The included trailer is a real industrial trailer with low profile wheels and tires, and 3500 lb. capacity.  Very easy on and off with the hovercraft.  Best estimate is 100-125 hours on the hovercraft, and 100 miles on the trailer.  I live right next door to the lake.  The skirt is original.  The hovercraft is located in Loveland, Colorado, 40 miles north of Denver.
