Model Type: UH-19P

Width: 7' feet 8"
Payload: 4 passengers or 800 pounds
Engine: LIFT: 24 hp Kohler (34" fan) THRUST: 3.31 Chevy V6 (74" 58 pitch propeller)
Hover height: 8 inches

This is a modified plan project nearing completion but not quite there. It needs someone with some creative abilities to help get it done. I just haven't had the time or the money, but its close.

There is really too much to put in this ad for practical purposes a phone call is required and it would help if you have some knowledge of how they work. Asking $3,000.00 OBO. I would consider a reasonable trade such as a small truck. This craft when done will easily do 80mph over the water!

Don Bender Model: Price: $9,000 SOLD

Description
This craft was built in 1988 by one of the nations premier hovercraft builders. Don has been awarded numerous awards by the Hoverclub of America for his craftsmanship and high level of detail. Don rebuilt this craft in 2000 to make sure it was in top notch condition.

This craft has also set a World Speed Record in 2003 at the WHC in Terre haute IN. Bill Zang piloted this craft beyond 70 mph. Zang commented that the craft had a "lot of throttle left"¯.

Later the craft was flown 942 unsupported miles in recognition of the trip Lewis and Clark took from St. Louis MO to Yankton SD.

The craft has a beautiful 54 inch thrust duct with a very efficient air inlet. This high efficiency duct combined with the perfectly matched 4-blade propeller make the craft incredibly quiet. The lift system is set at 40 degrees to provide a ram air effect in the lift system. Ram air provides more efficiency and a more stable ride at high speed.

This UH-10F is the third craft I have built from Universal Hovercraft. It is a new craft with a new engine. It took about 4 months to build. The craft is a fairly simple design and the instructions were easy to read. The craft is light weight and is easy to load/unload on/off the trailer with one person. I added the seat so my daughter and I could ride together. It can easily be taken out. This craft is a lot of fun on the water.

-Speed: 25-35 mph

UH-13P Price: $7,400 SOLD

Description
Described as "the crotch rocket of hovercraft" by Bill Zang, President of Universal Hovercraft, this is one crazy fast 13P. It has been highly modified from stock (aside from the general shape and size, nothing is stock actually), it is very reliable, and VERY fun to drive.

If you've never been on a hovercraft before, you have no idea how much fun it can be! You can get virtually anywhere and go places boat owners can only dream about.

I've had it up to about 75 on water. I'm sure it would go faster on ice.

I REALLY hate to sell this, but I want to build something new and don't have the space unless I sell my baby. The craft is in perfect running condition. It's worth saying that I've NEVER broken down on a cruise in this craft. It is quite reliable.

Specifications
-UH-13P general shape
-Thicker hull at 6 inches, built for high horsepower racing
-26 inch Lift duct
-54 inch Thrust duct
-UH Variator lift system (allows lift adjustment independent of thrust)
-Modified low-mileage (27,000 on donor car) EA-81 Subaru, approximate
