4-Stroke Power:
Renegade uses a V-Twin, fuel injected engine. Renegade Premium Kit and Renegade IQ use a liquid cooled V-Twin, fuel injected engine. Most small pleasure hovercrafts are powered by noisy, fuel gulping 2-stroke engines. Our 4-stroke engines offer low noise, dependability and fuel efficiency.
Ease of Use:
Renegade hovercraft is the easiest to operate hovercraft in the world today. Its single engine design, simple handlebar controls and segmented skirts make the craft extremely simple to operate and easy to maintain. Most pilots learn to operate the craft in 10 minutes or less.
Skirts:
The Renegade uses a segmented skirting system. This system gives the craft a smooth ride while reducing friction and wear. 55 individual segments are used. Should you damage the skirts, segments can be replaced individually in a few short minutes.
Transporting:
The Renegade trailer can be supplied with either a kit or a “ready to roll” trailer. All renegade trailers are galvanized for superior corrosion resistance. Trailers are custom designed to fit the Renegade. For ease of use the trailer is designed to be loaded and unloaded by a single person.
Plow In
Typically plow ins are avoided by most hovercraft due to the tendency to rapidly decelerate. This happens to some hovercraft when the bow of the craft touches the water. The Renegade does not plow in and will not decelerate. The bow of the Renegade is designed so as a plow in will never occur under any condition.
Renegade Superstructure
Full Kevlar Epoxy foam composite lower hull with high-quality GRP mouldings
AeroDrive
