Homebuilt: Price: $5,200 w/trailer SOLD

Lift engine: 10hp Tecumseh
Thrust engine: 24hp Honda
Top speed: 40 mph

This Hovercraft was built by a seasoned craftsman named Stan Sykes from Youngstown, Ohio (I believe his 7th) and was the Winner of the 2004 Quality Construction Award at the Hoverally 2004 in Chillicothe, Ohio June 25 to 27.

It sports a new skirt, new thurst prop, new windshield and seat covering. The Main pulley is also new purchased from Universal Hovercraft.. It also includes an easy to use tilt trailer with wench. Both the trailer and the craft are legally registered in the state of Pennsylvania. The Hovercraft was recently painted and the graphics can be removed easily with a hairdryer... There are some areas on the craft that need touched up with paint but nothing major. The Graphics will remain on until the Hovercraft is sold. The reason I'm selling is I need to make room as I just purchased a UH118SPW hovercraft

Sevtec Vanguard by Al Ramero Price: $5,000.00 SOLD

This Sevtec was built a few years ago and is ready to go. It is sitting in an airplane hanger where it was built. Although everything on it works it has never been on a test ride. Al has built three airplanes in this same hanger before building this hovercraft. He just doesn't have the time anymore. There is a trailer for the craft however the wiring and a few other thing are not complete. The $5,000 doesn't include the trailer so make us an offer, that is if you need a trailer. We really need to get rid of both.

Sevtec Vanguard Hovercraft
18 HP Vanguard engine
1-3 person
Hull 7'x14'
The engine turns a 6 blade fan that airs the skirt and a 3 blade thrust prop which propels the craft. The Sevtec Vanguard is a very dependable craft and is good for long trips. This craft has a lot of room inside for carrying supplies

The price has been set for quick sale!!

Weber Starcruiser: Price: $8,500 SOLD

10 year old Starcruiser built by Weber Hovercraft

The hovercraft is in very good shape mechanically. It does have a tear in the rear seam of the back skirt, near a vent hole, that needs to be sewn back together. I am selling it because I just have gotten too little use of it. I was intending to use it for travel over the ice in winter but I never got to use it for that and just played with it a bit in the summer. It was kept up on a boat lift for those 2-month summer periods, and in a garage/shed all the rest of the time so there is very little wear and tear. It has had regular maintenance and the oil has been changed every year (whether it was run or not). It has always spent about 10 months of the year (winter), and even some complete years, under cover in storage. I also have an aluminum boat lift that I would sell with it, if anyone is interested. We have a rocky shoreline and I didn't want to bring the hovercraft up on the shore, so the boat lift was always used and worked as a better option to keep the Starcruiser out of the water and give it a smooth landing spot.

It comes with the Weber trailer which is in good shape, and it has the anti-ice carburetor kit, and it had some extra sound dampening put in by Verdon around the lift engine. (The Tach should show well under 50 hours, but I haven't pulled it out of storage this summer to check.)
Cosmetic issues: There are some stains coming through the paint in places where there are screws underneath, and I was going to repaint it to get rid of those. One of the back panels (just a 1-foot square, flat piece of 3/4-inch foam near the floor in the back) popped out when a wave hit it, and it didn't seem to matter much, so I never replaced it. But it can be replaced pretty easily if desired.
Other than that, the machine is in great shape and it runs very well, and has always run very well. We just have not had much time to run it, and my kids never had any interest in it.

I am asking $8,500 for it, to be picked up in Maine.

Hovercraft specs:
Capacity 4 persons
Engine Lift 10 h.p. Tecumseh
Engine Thrust 25 h.p. Kohler
Payload 800 lbs.
Length 15 ft
Width 7 ft
Height 5'4''
