hull was built for a college design project full engineering analysis was used to design craft including wind tunnel testing built from a mixture of balsa and foam core panels with fiber glass, kevlar and carbon fiber for maximum strength orginally designed to be radio controled but would make a very cool craft for kids. bag and finger skirt design. comes with 12 bladed lift fan, hub, and shaft. the fan alone cost me over $200 the above 9hp engine could be direct mounted to the thrust prop and run a belt to lift.

2. 7.25 Prop Hub - $50.00
Sold used as is. One of the 3/8-16 holes is stripped. This bolt hole could be fixed with a helicoil or a nut can be used on the back side. Hub is 6061 T6 aluminum.


3. Engine Drive Pulley - $75.00
3Vbelt type, 5 groove, 3.75 inch diameter. Used bushing of your specification will be included. This pulley is slightly used and is in good condition.


4. Engine Drive Pulley - $95.00
3Vbelt type, 6 groove, 4.50 inch diameter. Used bushing of your specification will be included. This pulley is slightly used and is in good condition.


5. Engine Drive Pulley - $45.00
3Vbelt type, 2 groove, 5.25 inch diameter. Used bushing of your specification will be included. This pulley is slightly used and is in good condition.


6. Engine Drive Pulley - $75.00
5Vbelt type, 2 groove, 13P or 14P engine drive pulley. Used bushing of your specification will be included. This pulley is slightly used and is in good condition.


8. 18SP or 18SPW Lift Drive Assembly - $120.00 SOLD
Sold used as is. Complete drive assembly has been used only 25 hours. Includes 5V x 9” pulley with bushing, 1” stainless shaft, mounting hub bushing, two bearings, 5VX 950 belt, 5VX 2300 belt and the steel mount. This mount is used in place of the version used in the plans. The mount will fit between the lift fan mount boards in the lift duct.


10. 3 groove 5V Lift Pulley for 18SP or 18SPW - $119.00
This is the 6, 5, 4, lift pulley used on the 18SPseries hovercraft. It’s made so the lift fan drive ratio can be adjusted to any of the three pulley sizes required for the conditions you’re operating in. Pulley is in new condition. It is made from cast aluminum (we used this for years until switching to 6061 aluminum).


1. 7.25 Prop Hub, Backing Plate, Bushing & Bolts - $70.00 SOLD
Used in good condition. Includes 1.25 inch bushing. This bushing can be swapped with a bushing of any diameter to fit your application. Bolts are stainless steel. Hub and backing plate are 6061 T6 aluminum.


7. 18SP or 18SPW Lift Drive Assembly - $120.00 SOLD
Sold used as is. Complete drive assembly has been used only 3 hours. Includes 5V x 9” pulley with bushing, 1” stainless shaft, 5.5” fan mounting hub with bushing, two bearings and the steel mount. This mount is used in place of the version used in the plans. The mount will fit between the lift fan mount boards in the lift duct.


9. Variator Drive System - $290.00 SOLD
Sold used as is. Variator was used 50 hours on a prototype hovercraft. This part is in good condition, works very well and is not worn. This is the same type of system we sell new for $ 599.
